here's my official explanation to my aquarius gf as to why i keep listening to that sappy love-forsaken mushy and pathetic (super lait!) song Because of You (with versions popularized by Keith Martin, Kyla and Paolo Santos but individually and not altogether)

it's because i like that one line: If ever you wonder if you touch my soul, yes you do ;-)
and also that line (but i like it to a lesser degree) thank you for the love and the joy you bring ... in straight and to the point recognition of the joy that sometimes people bring to you even if they don't really mean to do it anyway (hahaha!). but not to say they're the only joy there is! oh puh-leeeze (hahaha as if i don't also contradict myself on this).
